over the state.
RAIESP (Anesthesiology Rounds of Inner São Paulo State) is an itinerant course, held in different cities in the countryside of São Paulo, according to the demand of SAESP's regional administrative offices. In order to offer continuing education, updating, training, and experience exchange among anesthesiologists from all over the state, RAIESP has an important role in improving the safety and quality of patient care.
To achieve these objectives, we included in RAIESPs’ continuing educational programs basic themes, such as obstetric anesthesia, cardiopulmonary resuscitation, access to difficult airway, mechanical ventilation, ultrasound-guided regional anesthesia, airways, pediatric emergencies, among others.
Moreover, the teaching tools used in RAIESPs provide interactivity in the theoretical and practical schedule, and are excellent opportunities to introduce new concepts and technologies to the participants' daily clinical practice.
